This beautiful creature of nature is the symbol of the 2017 Asian Games held in Ashgabat. The shape of the horse is covered with 1,300 rectangular, individually designed and manufactured panels. The system was developed specifically for this building. This is one of the most challenging structures we have ever worked on as this 200 tonne horse sits on a cantilevered structure. Since then, the horse's head has been in its own place. The panels were very difficult to install on the structure and in the end the panels and the gaps between them satisfied the contractor. Founder-owner Dr. Gábor Toldy, as the former Technical and Operations Director of Baumetall Design Kft., developed and implemented the facade cladding as the head of the Baumetall Design Kft. team.
